  • Dow falls 313 points, bond yields spike as rate hike looms

    Investors bailed out of U.S. stocks with all three of the major averages falling 1% amid skittishness ahead of the Federal Reserve's anticipated interest rate hike on Wednesday. As stocks slipped, the 10-year Treasury yield hit 3.57%, the highest since March 2011. In commodities, oil slipped 1.5% to $84.45 per barrel.
